State Senator Keith Faber explains what the clarification in the language would have meant for out of state students wanting to vote in Ohio. They would have been welcome to do so as long as they become Ohio residents by registering their license and vehicle witihn 30 days of residency. Gov. Kasich line-item vetoed the measure to the dismay of those seeking to clarify the existing language in the law.

Fred served in U.S. national security positions for 25 years at the CIA, DIA, Department of State and the House Intelligence Committee staff. During the administration of President George W. Bush, Mr. Fleitz was chief of staff to John Bolton, then Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security.
