Prayers and Petitions for Imprisoned Pastor Saeed Abedini     Matthew 25:36 "...I was sick and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came unto me."

On today's program of Christian News in Focus, OCA President Chris Long interviewed Eric Toy, legislative assistant to Senator Portman, on the important issue of the imprisonment of Pastor Saeed Abedini.  Senator Portman signed a joint letter of 80 senators and representatives urging the State Department to exhaust every option in release of American pastor Saeed Abedini.

This week, I interviewed Maurice Thompson of the 1851 Law Center on the important issue of judicial standing.  In recent years, Ohio courts have thrown out numerous cases brought by individuals and interest groups on a variety of issues under the guise that they did not have standing.  This is a dangerous trend that threatens the rights of individuals and interest groups to have their day in court. The 1851 Law Center has appealed this issue to the Supreme Court of Ohio. Tune in as OCA President Chris Long discusses the issue with Maurice Thompson.
