Attorney General Marc Dann
Needs to Hear From You!
November 15, 2007
The Ohio Christian Alliance submitted a letter to Ohio
Attorney General Marc Dann on Tuesday of this week, requesting an
apology for his remarks in an email dated April 6th of 2007, Good
Friday, in which he compared a bad press day to the crucifixion of
Christ. The email between Attorney General Dann and his
communications director, Mr. Leo Jennings, became public in an
article from the Dayton Daily News on Sunday, November 11th.
The Ohio Christian Alliance received a response from Attorney
General Dann's communications director, but not an apology from the
Attorney General. According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Mr. Leo
Jennings, communications director for the Attorney General indicated
that Mr. Dann would give a guarantee that he would not make such
bigoted remarks in the future, but that an apology is not
forthcoming.
As many of you have indicated that this issue is of importance to
you, please phone and email the Attorney General, letting him know
your thoughts.
Remember to please be respectful when you
phone in and communicate with the Attorney General's office.
