OHIO CHRISTIAN ALLIANCE APPLAUDES FLORIDA’S RULING ON HEALTH CARE LAW AS UNCONSTITUTIONAL

OCA President Chris Long stated the following, “The U.S. District Court today stated what the people of Ohio knew from the start – that the nationalized healthcare bill passed by the 111th Congress is unconstitutional.  Ohioans and Americans across the country objected to this overreach of the federal government into their personal lives in decisions regarding patients and their doctors.  We applaud Attorney General Mike DeWine who earlier this month joined Ohio to the Florida lawsuit along with 25 other states, objecting to Obamacare and its unconstitutional federal mandates.

STATE SENATOR TIM GRENDELL APPLAUDS FLORIDA’S RULING OF HEALTH CARE LAW AS UNCONSTITUTIONAL

(Columbus) State Senator Tim Grendell (R-Chesterland) said today after hearing the U.S. district court verdict,   “Forcing unfunded mandates on our citizens is unconstitutional and I applaud the ruling today by Judge Vinson. In making this ruling, the Florida Judge has confirmed what many of us knew from the beginning; Obamacare is an unconstitutional infringement on the liberty of the American people and patients should have more control over their own healthcare decisions that the federal government. Again, I commend Judge Vinson for his ruling and praise Ohio’s Attorney General Mike DeWine for joining Ohio as a party in this lawsuit.”
