Adoption Tax Credit S.B. 20 Sponsor Hearing This Wednesday

Ohio Christian Alliance has requested members of the State Legislature to sponsor a bill that will triple the tax credit for families adopting in Ohio.  The current tax credit is $500.  The legislation being introduced by State Rep. Danny Bubp of the 88th District and State Senator Patricia Clancy of the 8th District will triple the tax credit to $1500.  Parents who seek adoption are told to prepare for upwards of $40,000 per adoption.  Many adoptions exceed this amount.  This legislation is important to support those couples that are already facing a financial burden through the adoption process.
